GEAR UP, which stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs, is a federal program funded by the U.S. Department of Education whose mission is to significantly increase the number of low-income middle and high school students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.

Exceptional Youth Scholarship

The Foundation for Global Sports Development is offering a $10,000 scholarship to 5 eligible students. It is open to students who have demonstrated remarkable conduct through community service efforts, volunteerism, and mentorship activities. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

TorHoerman Law Scholarship

As part of the TorHoerman Law Scholarship Program, THL is hosting our third annual scholarship essay competition. In accordance with our “End Distracted Driving” campaign, student contestants will be asked to discuss the dangers of distracted driving and what steps our society can take to put an end to this issue. The student with the best overall response will receive $1,000 to go towards their education costs.

The D’Addario Music Foundation seeks to award grants and product donations to sustainable music instruction programs to improve access to music education.
