GEAR UP, which stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs, is a federal program funded by the U.S. Department of Education whose mission is to significantly increase the number of low-income middle and high school students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.

Taco Bell Foundation Scholarship

The Taco Bell Foundation seeks to award a scholarship to eligible students. Eligible applicants must be enrolled, or planning to enroll in, an accredited post-high school/post-secondary educational program and submit a short video sharing their passions. Scholarship awards vary.

The Opportunity Scholarship

The Opportunity Scholarship Award, provided by TheDream.US, will cover tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals for eligible applicants at one of their Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $80,000 for a bachelor’s degree. The award is renewable each year. Eligible applicants must meet the continuing eligibility criteria, which includes continuous full-time enrollment.
