GEAR UP, which stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs, is a federal program funded by the U.S. Department of Education whose mission is to significantly increase the number of low-income middle and high school students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.

TorHoerman Law Scholarship

As part of the TorHoerman Law Scholarship Program, THL is hosting our third annual scholarship essay competition. In accordance with our “End Distracted Driving” campaign, student contestants will be asked to discuss the dangers of distracted driving and what steps our society can take to put an end to this issue. The student with the best overall response will receive $1,000 to go towards their education costs.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is the largest provider of publicly available scholarships in New Hampshire and are committed to funding promising students with financial need. Applications are open, and available online at

4-Year Program Bachelor’s Degree Deadline: April 16, 2021 5:00 PM ET

2-Year Program Associate’s Degree Deadline: open enrollment through December 15, 2021

 

Community College Scholarship

Optimal seeks to provide a $2,000 award to an eligible student. This scholarship is open to students enrolled at a public community college, technical college, junior college, or city college, and applicants must provide short essay responses to provided topics.
